Apparently Twitter, in its infinite wisdom, decided it would be a great idea to remove the feature that lets us display tweets on the sidebar. Instead they’re trying to get everyone to use their ugly widget. Fsck that. So I signed up for a free wordpress site, added news syndication to there via my hootsuite account (which I love), and hacked up a javascript reader to pull its RSS. Hopefully the resulting news pipeline won’t be too easy to break.
TLDR: Newsbar should work again and I officially hate twitter now.
