8BitMMO has had a small update to install a new certificate.
- Steam users should receive the update automatically.
- Standalone users will need to download the updated installer.
If your game launcher hangs on “Please wait… connecting to 8BitMMO servers…” it could be a sign you do not have the new certificate and need the launcher update. (If you are using standalone version installed prior to July 10, 2026, you must update or you will not be able to play.)
